The Green Building Summer 2021 Wedding
Alicia and Ryan were married on a cool summer day in June of 2021 at the Green Building in Brooklyn, New York. They wanted their wedding space to be beautifully designed (it was!) and for their guests to have an absolute blast (they did!).
The raw space allowed Alicia and Ryan to be creative and artistic with their decor. They brought in eye-catching furniture rentals from Patina Rentals and adorned their tables with velvet runners, rustic candle displays, and bright florals from IndyFASO.
Originally, they had planned for a larger, cocktail style event. As they planned during COVID, we decided to shift to a smaller wedding with a sit-down dinner, instead. Following an incredible meal served by the kindest staff of Night Kitchen Catering, Alicia, Ryan, and their friends and family finally hit the dance floor and partied away until it was time for their after-party.
Alicia and Ryan created a beautiful event and demonstrated how fun it is to make a raw space into a totally personalized venue! Although we did have to pivot our plans for their wedding due to COVID, we loved consulting Alicia and Ryan through those difficulties and helping them create their dream day.
