A Rainy May Wedding at the River Cafe
We are SO excited to finally be sharing Melda & Dave’s wedding weekend! These two booked us for full wedding weekend planning just three months before their wedding. In those three months, we booked spaces for their welcome dinner, post-wedding brunch, and every vendor for their wedding day. We worked day-in and day-out with them to make their vision for a bright, joyful, and welcoming celebration come to life.
The weekend turned out exactly as we hoped (except the 3 straight days of rain…)! We started with a welcome dinner at Celestine on the water in Dumbo that had a full spread of Mediterranean dishes, specialty cocktails, bright floral arrangements, and colorful blankets to keep everyone warm on the patio. On wedding day, we went from getting ready at the 1 Hotel to the River Cafe just a few blocks away. Michelin star food, skyline views, and dancing all night long…not sure you can ask for more! The next morning, guests gathered at The Osprey for a farewell brunch.
We absolutely love working with sweet couples like Melda & Dave from start to finish on weddings like these. A sweet couple had a beautiful and intimate celebration of their love and the weekend was truly proof that at the end of the day, even rain can’t dampen the mood on such a lovely wedding.
