Housing Works September 2021 Wedding

After many postponements and changes of plans, Andrew & Katie FINALLY were able to celebrate their marriage in early September 2021 at one of our favorite venues. The couple eloped in 2020 at their neighborhood garden with plans to celebrate in Italy in 2021. Italy wasn’t able to happen so plan B went into effect: celebrate in NYC. They first held a beautiful outdoor ceremony (officiated by Katie’s dad) in the same church garden where their elopement happened, followed by a reception at Housing Works Bookstore. The food & wine was flowing, and the beautiful greenery by Flover brought the perfect elegant & cozy vibe to the space that Katie & Andrew  wanted. They had nods to Italy with their wine offerings, greenery and that laid back vibe. The night was a huge party (shoutout to Darnell White & his band for keeping the energy up all night), complete with a performance by Andrew + his family band. Katie & Andrew had a BLAST celebrating with their friends and family. This night was one of the biggest parties we’ve seen at Housing Works and reflected Katie & Andrew’s fun-loving personalities perfectly. Cheers to the beautiful couple!
