Aurora Brooklyn Spring 2021 Wedding

Grace and John’s intimate wedding was the perfect way to jump back into events in 2021! Theirs was the first wedding we had worked on in 8 months, and we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to plan with.

Safety was their main priority. Although the world was opening back up in April of 2021 when they held their wedding, they were still extremely conscious of hosting a wedding during a pandemic. They tested all their guests for COVID, whether vaccinated or not, and encouraged everyone to wear a mask at all times. They even reminded guests with (on brand) signs on the tables.

Their wedding was an incredibly sweet and beautiful event held at Aurora in Brooklyn. Their florist, Hyemin Park, decorated Aurora’s tables with delicate and bright touches that just added to the natural charm of the venue, while Sarah & Simon Cake Design created the perfect cake to match the feel of the day. Danielle Oh Photography captured the happiness and beauty of the day perfectly!

Grace and John just wanted to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones in a safe way—and they did so perfectly! Although planning a wedding during a global pandemic is a challenge, this couple was such a joy to do it with. Cheers to Grace and John!
